Technology and Capitalism are the best tools we have to reduce Poverty while promoting Freedom and Prosperity.

by John Gaudio

All the government programs in the world pale when compared to the power of people empowered by the freedom to do what is best for themselves, their children, their employees, and their neighbors; and one  fine showcase of such power comes to Las Vegas next week, at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show, CES 2018, January 09-12, 2018.

In October, at the 2017 Rocky Mountain Audio Video Expo, I covered a tiny preview of what will be found next week at CES.  Please visit again to see more of what actually brings Freedom, Prosperity and Wealth to more people than any government program could ever hope to bring.  CES is the poster child for Capitalism and Technological Innovations that really do improve the world, one entrepreneur,  innovator, employee and family member at a time.

Looking back, my equipment and my skills have greatly improved since I created this short video in the Brother booth, at CES 2008.  Please watch it, then check out BrotherSews.com, to see what Brother's been up to over the last ten years. :-)

According to Robert Heinlein, from his novel, Time Enough for Love,

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck.”
